How we build predator resistant ponds, the natural way.

How we build predator resistant ponds, the natural way:

For a look at how we keep a pond safe from predators, watch this video. A raccoon tries unsuccessfully to disturb this pond and the fish living in it. With proper design, any pond can become a safe haven for the fish and plant life it harbors. By building and designing our water features in the natural way we can help keep your plants and fish safe.

Our ponds are constructed with large overhang rock shelves and drop off areas of 18” deep or more. The elimination of shallow pond areas makes it difficult for a predator to be successful in catching its prey. The fish can simply swim away to safety. This eliminates the need for unattractive nets or covers that disrupt the beauty of your landscape.
