Sunken Pond and Landscaped Tennis Courts
These homeowners in Nassau County dreamed of gazing from their conservatory out onto lush gardens with a pond and waterfall in the distance. We designed the gardens to include a stream and sunken pond. Large rock ridges were created to retain the grade around the water garden. A natural stone bridge spans the stream leading to a waterfall. Age old moss rock extends down into the pond, giving a time worn look. Stepping stones lead through rock outcroppings to a landing near the tennis court, where matches may be viewed from above.
