A natural rock garden designed by Emil Kreye & Son, surrounds this swimming pool at a Lawrence, Long Island home. Bluestone stepping stones form a path around the pool leading to a natural looking hot spring in the top of the rock garden. A rock outcropping is suspended over the pool and can be used as a diving rock.
Pond and waterfall design and construction is a craft that has been perfected over four generations of Kreye landscapers. The waterfall looks as though it naturally flows from the landscape rather than looking like a man-made addition. The design includes a poolside gazebo and arbors, both stone and wooden.
In the front of the home stepping stones wind through a pond toward the entrance of this Lawrence, Long Island residence. A rock garden and waterfall create a beautiful focal point that can be viewed by visitors and residents alike. Moss rock and plantings give the scene a natural appearance.
