A barren hillside is transformed into a serene and timeless landscape at this North Shore, Long Island home. Rock ledges are designed and constructed to retain the 22’ high grade and give the illusion that the house was built on a mountainside. A pond is installed below while waterfalls flow between streams and into the pond. Paths and stone steps meander through the garden as a visitor is lured from one peaceful setting to the next. A bluestone patio, where guests can mingle and relax, surrounds the swimming pool.
